![]() ![]() Wooden clarinets are heavier than plastic ones and do take some getting used to. Best to avoid unless there is no other choice. Neck slings are definitely a bad idea unless you absolutely have to have one on medical grounds - they lead to neck strain and posture problems on clarinet and will affect your ability to play properly.
